1. Beta Status
StringsOS is currently in beta. Features, limits, and availability may change before general release. We will not charge you unless you choose a paid plan and accept the pricing terms. Eligible beta users will receive a first-year discount when paid plans launch, subject to the published beta discount terms.
This notice is intended to make the beta conditions clear before signup. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before general availability or paid launch.
2. What Beta Means
- Features may be incomplete, renamed, redesigned, rate-limited, disabled, or removed.
- Data models, APIs, prompts, integrations, MCP tools, Figma flows, GitHub flows, and export formats may change before general release.
- Documentation, feature guides, product behavior, and support workflows may lag behind implementation during active beta work.
- The beta may include bugs, downtime, data processing errors, AI output errors, accessibility issues, or performance issues.
3. Pricing, Payment, and Discounts
- No credit card is required for beta signup unless a separate beta program says otherwise.
- Your beta account will not automatically become a paid subscription.
- When paid plans launch, you must choose a paid plan and accept the published pricing and billing terms before we charge you.
- Eligible beta users will receive a first-year discount when paid plans launch. The exact eligibility rules, amount, duration, expiration date, transfer rules, and exclusions will be stated in the published beta discount terms.
- Discounts may not apply to enterprise custom contracts, regulated deployments, dedicated infrastructure, custom data residency, professional services, taxes, third-party pass-through costs, or usage beyond stated plan limits unless expressly included.
4. Data and Backups
- Do not use the beta as the only source of truth for production localization files, legal copy, regulated content, or business-critical release assets.
- Keep independent backups of source JSON files, translations, screenshots, Figma files, GitHub branches, and exported content.
- We may need to migrate, reprocess, or remove beta data to improve the product, fix security issues, or prepare for general availability.
- We will try to communicate major data migrations or breaking changes when practical.
5. AI Output and Review
- AI suggestions are drafts, not final approved translations or legal commitments.
- Human review is required before using AI output in production.
- You should validate AI output for meaning, tone, placeholders, length, locale conventions, accessibility, regulatory suitability, and brand voice.
- Accepted suggestions and manual overrides may be logged to preserve auditability and improve review workflows.
6. Support and Availability
- Beta support may be limited, best-effort, and prioritized by product risk, security risk, customer impact, and roadmap fit.
- There is no beta uptime SLA unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise.
- We may temporarily throttle, pause, or disable accounts, workspaces, integrations, or tests that affect service stability or security.
7. Feedback
You may provide ideas, reports, prompts, screenshots, comments, and other feedback during beta. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, StringsOS may use feedback to improve, modify, market, and operate the product without obligation to compensate you.
8. Safe Testing
Do not run load, stress, penetration, scraping, or destructive tests against shared beta or production environments unless StringsOS has approved the test scope, timing, target environment, account, rate limits, and rollback plan.
